Page 52 of the 1850 census shows Jesse and Mary Whitehead near Richard; both not far apart -- Richard is on 675 and Jesse on lot 677 -- lot 676 may be across the road; both Jesse and Mary and Richard and Ann married in Clark County -- I have lost the copy of Jesse's marriage record; only Richard appears on 1840 census not Jesse though Jesse married in Clark before that.
(Jesse may have married a Mary Beasley -- not sure but pretty sure he did around the same time Richard married Anne)
In 1840 Richard is living with a wife and with another man Jesse's age and his wife. There is also one young child possibly William Johnson Whitehead.
