Dad: all I have is what you sent me:

"Our step mother took grandpa's bible, left it with some of her people, we never could get it.  I copied this from Aunt Margaret's Bible before she died. 

"Uncle Frank, your father, (this copied from cousin Willie's letter" died Sept. 21, 1900.  Just 51 years old, he was only twelve years of age when the Civil War came."

 Aunt Margaret? Who is Aunt Margaret?? I believe one of Dad's aunts.
 

Richard Malone Whitehead 2nd marriage married Lottie Whitehead and had one more son Joseph C whom we met when I was 3
Very nice older man a bit stockier than Dad, dark complexion, dark hair but mostly grey.
Lottie Whitehead may be the one who took the bible. As noted she was Richard Malone Whitehead's second wife.
But if this is a letter from Cousin Willie, William Johnson Whitehead's daughter, did William Johnson Whitehead have a second wife?
Supposedly also Frances Camma Bedingfield's stepmother was Frances Ridgeway (a minister's daughter; her real mother was not Frances thus, but Susanah Housch, but she was named for some reason Frances, last of Susanah's children)

The letter I believe was actually sent to either Weetie or Ed. by Aunt Frances or Aunt Susie. It mentions a letter from Cousin Willie.
